- The universal firearm safety rules
- Firearm parts and how they function
- How to properly load and unload a firearm
- Proper grip and stance for improved control and accuracy
- Key legal concepts, including when the use of force may be justified and where firearms are prohibited
- 1 hour of live-fire training at an indoor range

Q: This is more than I was planning to spend—why does it cost $599?
A: That’s a fair question. This is designed entirely around you—your experience level, your pace, and your goals.
Instead of a group class where you’re sharing time and attention, you get focused instruction the entire time. That means you learn faster, avoid common mistakes, and leave with a much stronger foundation in safety, control, and consistency. The training is led personally by the owner and founder of Boynton Guns, Frank Latella. He brings over a decade of experience in self-defense and firearm instruction, including a certification as a law enforcement firearms instructor. Just as important, he’s known for his patience and ability to break things down in a way that makes sense—no matter your starting point. For most people, that level of focused, personalized instruction makes a bigger impact than multiple group classes at a lower cost.
