This training includes everything in the Armed Essential package plus:
You will learn:
- Malfunction clearing and problem-solving under pressure
- Proper holster draw and presentation techniques
- An additional live-fire training session at an indoor range
- Your choice of advanced training:
- Scenario-based decision making (“shoot / don’t shoot”) using a law enforcement–grade training system called Simunition. You’ll be guided through realistic situations designed to test your judgment under pressure and build confidence in high-stress environments. A specialized marking training firearm is used to safely simulate real encounters—while you engage in the scenario, you will not be the one taking hits.
- Self-defense focused training tailored to your comfort level. Learn practical, easy-to-understand techniques such as basic hand-to-hand defense, firearm disarms, and knife threat awareness. This training is designed with beginners in mind, focusing on simple, effective movements that build confidence without overwhelming you.

The training is led personally by the owner and founder of Boynton Guns, Frank Latella. He brings over a decade of experience in self-defense and firearm instruction, including a certification as a law enforcement firearms instructor. Just as important, he’s known for his patience and ability to break things down in a way that makes sense—no matter your starting point.
